This page shows the questions we track, how we measure them, and our current results. Results as of October 14, 2026.
What we measure
Each week, a tracking platform asks AI assistants a set of questions. It records which businesses each answer names, and in what order.
The assistants we track include ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Claude.
We look at two things for each question:
Do we show up at all? Being named is the first step.
Where do we rank? Rank 1 means we are the first business named in the answer.
The rules we follow
We only count questions that do not include our name. A question like "Lightning Leads Pro local SEO" will name us almost every time, so it proves nothing. We track 9 of those questions separately, only to confirm AI tools know who we are.
We chose these questions ourselves. They match the trades and Tampa Bay cities we serve. So these results show how we do on our own questions. They are not an independent industry ranking.
We compare results week to week. One week of change on a small set of questions can be noise, so we look for changes that hold.
Results at a glance
As of October 14, 2026:
We show up for 26 of 46 tracked questions. In late September, we showed up for 3.
We rank first on 6 questions.
We rank second on 5 more.
Results held steady from October 7 to October 14.
